Strategies for finding OER Online
This workshop is designed for faculty but students may find parts of it useful.
Electronic Resources Librarian, Jim Rickerson will provide faculty with a brief introduction to the basics of (OER) Open Educational Resources, as well as tips on finding quality open content in OER repositories and methods for incorporating these resources into your courses. Information will be provided about how the library can assist faculty with locating curriculum specific open access and open textbooks, open access journals, as well as multimedia resources. Brief mention will also be given to library licensed e-books, journals and databases which are also available to students at no extra cost and which can play their part in helping to make college affordable for our students.
Individuals requiring disability-related accommodations for participation in any Clayton State University sponsored event or program may contact the Disability Resource Center at (678) 466-5445 or DisabilityResourceCenter@clayton.edu.
