Potter talk - Seth Shaw and Josh Kitchens In-Person

Immortality or in this case immortality through memory is a complex issue. How do you do it? What are the costs associated with it? Within the world of Harry Potter, various individuals try to preserve their memory and selves through a variety of extreme and not so extremes measure each leading to differing results. Horcruxs, pensieves, and paints all preserve little bits of information in this world and document memory. We will explore how these methods of preservation serve as metaphors for our muggle attempts to preserve memory.

Registration is not required for this event but will assist us in projecting attendance.
